Autism Brain and Body Empowerment: Understanding the Developing Brain
Individual and Family-Centered Care

The Frida Method® Institute for Neurodevelopment’s "Autism Brain and Body Empowerment" offers tailored programs for individuals from toddlers to adults facing autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. Our proven approach is designed to address each client’s unique experiences and obstacles. We prioritize individualized care, ensuring our strategies align with the needs of the individual and their family.
All ages are welcome.
Our Approach
To transform autism from a diagnosis into a neuro-diverse and high-sensitive human experience, we create more options for healing. Neuro-diversity celebrates the natural variation in human neural processing and experiences, encompassing cognitive, sensory, and emotional differences. At the heart of the Frida Method® program is the achievement of emotional, gross and fine motor, and sensory milestones in a short time. Milestones serve as part of the maturation journey of the nervous system, aiming to enhance clients' somatic experiences and brain organization.
This approach consists of the following:
Balancing the Subcortical Brain is
part of Frida Method® Brain Therapy
Subcortical brain structures are essential for the control of autonomic and sensorimotor functions.
Motor control: Regulating movement, coordination and muscle tone
Cognition: Processing information, memory, learning and decision making
Emotions: Managing emotions such as fear, anxiety and pleasure
Autonomic function: controlling involuntary bodily processes such as heart rate, breathing and digestion
Sleep and wakefulness: coordinating sleep-wake cycles
Hormonal regulation: Influencing the release of hormones and neurotransmitters.

Brain Stem Structures

The Spectrum of Autism
Autism is a spectrum that represents a multidimensional profile encompassing diverse strengths and challenges, including sensory sensitivities, variable language skills, and repetitive behaviors. We facilitate constructive family dynamics and community inclusion to support holistic growth.
Frida Method® for autism is noninvasive and drug-free, and individually tailored to embrace all neurodivergent talents.
Frida Method® is the only method that works with both bottom-up and top-down approach as part of its process.

What clients notice
"I want to tell anyone who is considering the Frida Method that what they can gain from going through the process is themselves. What I mean by that is they will gain themselves on a whole new level. They will experience life from a better more integrated place enabling them to feel themselves with love and harmony. I am saying that an autistic person will gain freedom from the Autism grips and get to be a more integrated person and join life on life's terms. And life will open up for them to be their True selves with less Autistic tendencies that separate them. There is one more thing they will gain it is freedom to choose how they want to be and not have the Autism dictate it for them."

"When we started at the Frida Method, Maude began to improve tremendously. She could regulate herself, had an easier time with intentional communication, and socialize. Eventually, she could go to school and show how intelligent she actually is. Thanks to Maria, a dedicated and knowledgeable practitioner, and her method, I see my daughter blossoming into a kind, loving, compassionate, and spirited young woman embracing the world and all that comes with it. And, as a mother, I get to see people enjoy the person I always knew was there."
