ADHD
Helping children, teens, and adults move from distraction to regulation and focus.
What is ADHD?
ADHD, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with functioning or development. Symptoms can vary but commonly include:
ADHD typically manifests in childhood, but symptoms can persist into adolescence and adulthood. Its exact cause is not fully understood but is believed to involve genetic, environmental, and neurological factors.
What’s Behind ADHD?
At the Frida Method® we utilize a neurosomatic technique designed to integrate ADHD symptoms without the use of medication. Given that the brain continues to develop until around age 26, medication does not always address the underlying challenges.
Our findings indicate that the STNR (Symmetric Tonic Neck Reflex) and the spinal ability to perform flexion and extension movements significantly influence the central nervous system. Working on these foundational movements has proven beneficial in aligning the body and brain of individuals with ADHD.

Our Approach to ADHD at The Frida Method®
We prioritize non-invasive methods. Our neurosomatic technique integrates movement, sensory-motor pathways, reflex work, and nervous system regulation to support attention, control and development.

What to Expect
Whether a child, teen, or adult, our approach adjusts to your starting point and goals. No diagnosis is required to begin; we build from your system’s status.
What Success Looks Like
Because each person’s nervous system and profile is unique, outcomes vary. Many clients have improved attention, fewer impulsive actions, better task-follow-through, stronger regulation, and enhanced coordination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you diagnose ADHD?
Our service does not perform formal ADHD diagnosis. We assess neurodevelopmental/reflex/motor profiles and build a system-based support plan.
Is medication required?
Medication can be part of a plan but our focus is on underlying movement/reflex/nervous-system support. We work alongside existing treatments.
How long is the program?
Duration depends on age, severity, movement/reflex profile and goals; typically X–Y months.
What ages do you support?
Children, teens, and adults of all ages.
Is this just for children?
No. We support teens and adults who continue to experience ADHD symptoms or movement/regulation difficulties.
