Frida Method® Institute for Neurodevelopment offers intensive therapy programs in NeuroSomatic Technique, an integrative healthcare through hands-on Manual and Movement therapy, and are customized for each child and/or adult based on their needs & goals.
At the Frida Method®, we use the Intensive Model of Therapy developed over 30 years of treating children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Ehlers Danlos, connective tissue disorders, immune issues, learning disabilities and other neurological challenges. Our method is increasingly used throughout the world by therapists, and doctors recognize its many benefits and outstanding results.
Frida Method® therapists create a customized program for each client that varies in time, duration, intensity, and the specific modalities used. Children and adults often advance to the next developmental level or higher during the three-day program. If a person has high anxiety and deregulation, we bring in tools for calming the autonomic nervous system. If a person has pain or an injury, we start with manual input and advance into movement protocols and functionality.
We use a core combination of manual input based on Brain Curriculum (top-down method) and Multi-functional Movement Therapies (bottom-up method) in our intensive therapy programs on children of all ages starting as young as 6 month old as well as adults aged 65+, and we continue to see amazing results.
Many individuals, their families and caregivers make more progress towards their goals in 3 days of our Intensive Model than they do in traditional weekly or bi-weekly therapy. Our intensive is equivalent to 5 months of therapeutic work.
